That’s right!  This scholarship was founded by The Combat Helicopter Pilots Association (CHPA).  The scholarship has been started for the children of Combat Helicopter Pilots and Crewmembers who have lost their lives during the current and continuing conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq, and is NOT dependent in any way upon CHPA membership.  CHPA has been with us almost from the very beginning, and have honored the memory of CW2 Mike Blaise (2005 Honoree), CW4 Matt Salter (2006 Honoree), and CPT Matt Mattingly (2007 Honoree) by so naming the scholarship. 

I urge you to support this organization in any way that you can.  Family members of fallen Combat Helicopter Pilots and Crewmembers may join as Legacy members at no cost.  If you are a Combat Helicopter Pilot or Crewmember, you should join as a life member (these are your people).  If you want to contribute to the scholarship, or know someone who might—make it happen—right NOW!
